Every match carries a percentage. When Filiz isn’t sure, it says “best guess” and shows the lookalikes.

How accurate is it?
Common houseplants and garden plants are usually named correctly, and Filiz shows how sure it is every time. Rare species, young seedlings and plants without leaves are harder; for those it shows the lookalikes too. Never eat a wild plant or mushroom because an app named it.
Can it tell what’s wrong with my plant?
Yes. Photograph the part that looks wrong and Filiz lists the likely causes, from most to least likely, with the steps to take today. Most trouble is water or light, and it says so when it is.
Is it safe for my pets?
Every plant comes with its toxicity for cats and dogs and for people. It’s a guide, not a vet: if an animal has eaten a plant, call your vet or a poison line.
Are my photos stored?
Your photos stay on your phone. To identify a plant, a smaller copy is sent to our server and to our AI provider, used for that answer and not kept by us.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, and nothing on your phone is tied to your name or e-mail.
How do I delete my data?
Settings › Erase all data removes every plant, photo and care note on the phone. Deleting the app does the same.
